This single life thing rocks, I'll have you know.

Why I did not discover this before is beyond me.

I come and go as I please. I see who I want and who I don't.

No one knows anything more than I let them- and I won't let them.

Compartmentalization works best for me and no one choking and controlling the life out of me does too.

Yet there is a business principle here-

Do not, I repeat, do not put all your business out in the street if you are in business!

Don't carry on about your children, your husband, your unwashed laundry and your carpooling responsibilities.

When I'm talking to some chick at a function and she 'owns' a business and she starts rattling on about such matters- there is honestly only one thing that I am thinking- want to know what it is?

Unprofessional.

Shut the eff up!

I'm going to tell you outright because that person painfully listening to you, smiling sweetly over their glass of wine and hor dourves is never going to do it.

When you own a business, be about that and that only- business.

And what of your business?

THEN it's yours.

THEN we respect you.

THEN we believe you. 

 THEN we might even buy something.
